i like swede hollow park

Pop-up events are a realativly low cost way for the community to engage and use Swede Hollow Park.  Capitalizing on a grant opportunity from Open Eye Figure Theater Drive Way Tour Program kids and adults enjoyed a puppet show in the park.  Through the Knight Foundation and 8 80 City Champions Grant refreshments were provided.  It was lovely to enjoy the puppet show, eat a slice of watermelon and watch passersby stop and watch the show.

3-3:50PM Drumming led by Jamal Abdur-Salaam from John A. Johnson Elementary Drum line.

4-4:30PM  Puppet show by Open Eye Figure Theater. Molly and the Magic Boot.
